Royal Solaris Cancun

Plane rides

This would be the face of a very excited individual bound for Cancun! Well, aside from the very serious business of looking at apps. But aside from that, the excitement was practically oozing.

Me and the boy headed to Cancun to Royal Solaris Cancun for some sun and relaxation.

nippers

A little flight snack. I get pretty anxious during flights so this helps to soothe the nerves somewhat. Don’t worry, I shared. 😉

When we arrived, we were greeted with a drink from the staff, as we settled into paradise. Then we headed to rooms, where we were greeted with this view.

And that’s when were pretty darn close to just staying forever!

He seemed pretty excited about it too.

Like two giddy kids, we headed downstairs, eager to check out the beach and the rest of the resort. The resort has three pools- one strictly for adults and two family friendly.

We had pretty much everything to ourselves!

Chairs and umbrellas were free as well which was just “beachy”.

Mexico beach

We went with the all inclusive package for the hotel which meant all food and drinks were included. Deal! Tipping for drinks is strongly recommended though.

A view I could easily get used to.

After, we retreated back to our room to watch the sunset.

The sunsets that you catch in an unfamiliar place with the ones you love most are the best ones.

All smiles to end a pretty much perfect day.
